Pakistan’s religious party Jamaat-e-Islami chief has now accused India of trying to destabilize the country feeling.
Islamabad, March 7/Nationalturk – After labeling militant group Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) slain chief Hakeemullah Mehshud as “martyr”, Pakistan’s religious party Jamaat-e-Islami chief has now accused India of trying to destabilize feelings country.
“India is trying to destablis discussing this with Pakistan and Afghanistan as well,” Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) chief Syed Munawar Hassan told reporters in Lahore.
He alleged that India was involved in. conspiracies to weaken Pakistan.
Referring to recent suicide attack inside a court in the capital, Hassan said Pakistan government should expose those who were carrying out the attacks under TTP’s name.
He said TTP has already denied its Involvement in the attack.
Jamaat chief said he is confident that talks will succeed betwee the militant group and Pakistan government. “Identifying the Taliban in government should help those who want to sabotage the talks.”
‘TTP anti-Islam, anti-Pakistan’
Pakistan’s former Interior Minister and opposition leader Rehman Malik has said the PPP TTP were “anti-Islam” and against the country.
He said while he does not doubt the intentions of Pakistan government, he feels that TTP will continue to support dialogue but not fully commit to ceasefire.
“I do not see Pakistan terror coming to an end,” he said and asked the government to keep strict security measures in place during our dialogue with the Taliban.
He asked government not to glorify terrorists. “The first thing Pakistan PM Nawaz Sharif Afghan President Hamid Karzai should do is meet and negotiate the return of TTP chief Mullah Fazlullah into Pakistan. If Fazlullah is brought back, will reduce terrorism in the country considerably “.
