Manchester United continue transfer negotiations with Tottenham Welshman Gareth Bale announced second week of July same as last year Van Persie transfer.
Gareth Bale will arrival next month with the Tottenham Hotspurs winger rumoured to have cost the Red Devils side £85 million, though they have insisted that the actual fee is below this figure. Regardless, it is very probable they have broken the United’s Premier League transfer record, which was set by last year Van Persie transfer.
The figures are settled, the salary is set and Gareth Bale is on his way to the Old Trafford.
Incoming United manager David Moyes reportedly wants to make a “statement signing” this summer as star forward Wayne Rooney is expected to leave the club
.
Manchester United have offered £85 million for Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Gareth Bale and set a deadline of June 15 for the deal to be complete, Spurs have reportedly offered Gareth Bale a raise to £130,000 per week, but United are willing to match the salary.
Bale’s agent, Rob Barnett, said that Bale has not begun negotiations with Tottenham over a new contract.
Manchester United remain in hundreds of millions of pounds of debt. The most money they have spent in the Glazer era was £30.75 million on Dimitar Berbatov in what was effectively the appeasement age of the Americans’ ownership. Yet tabloids are speculating they are ready to smash that record – and the world equivalent on Gareth Bale.
Despite the current £307m burden and the cost of servicing the reviled Glazers’ ownership, Sir Alex Ferguson delivered 10 trophies in the eight years after the family’s takeover in 2005. His success in spite of them was testament to his genius as a football manager whereas David Moyes, in this modern age, will need to rely on more than just his wit and experience if he is to hold off Manchester City and Chelsea’s title assaults next season.
As superb as Bale £85m is effectively an entire budget, unless United really do have more to spare. There is a gaping void in their midfield, a three-year liability in Patrice Evra at left-back and the potential need for an additional forward should Wayne Rooney leave.
bale will be great addition to united’s squad but to sign him money will play a very big role coz i dont think utd will buy a player of 85m and as we still need a good midfeilder and if rooney leaves a striker too’
All bullshit bale or alcantara will never play for united, i cant belive people are acctualy consider this rumour. Baines will probaly join and i think moyes will bring this club down.
If this happens, and I mean a big if, then the premiership title 13/14, should be handed to Man Utd in advance. Wow can you imagine RvP and Bale in one team, it sounds awesome imagine the two walking out together at Swansea, followed by Thiago Alcantara. Lol.
Well we don’t know if this is true or not!!!
Well let’s hope he comes to United Next Season!!!
Bale is making d right choice by joining united

bale would be a wonderful signing should this report be true, as long Ashe can continue the form oflast season thecost would be insignificant as the return would far outweigh them.Go united go
