Wilkinson and Thompson recalled for England
Jonny Wilkinson (Fly-half) has been re-called for the International against Australia after an 18 month absence from the International arena along side Thompson.
Hooker Steve Thompson who has not played for England since 2006 and flanker Lewis Moody return to the squad along side Wilkinson after long time absences.
Thompson and Wilkinson will feature in the same England team for the first time since the 2003 World Cup final triumph against the Wallabies.
Courtney Lawes and Ayoola Erinle who have yet to be capped are both on the bench.
11 of the original 32-man squad that England boss Martin Johnson had has been lost to injury including 7 probable starters leading up the game.
The England side will have four members of the squad which lost to Australia 28-14 last season which are captain Steve Borthwick, Tom Croft, Ugo Monye and Care
