Golf is a new sport in Turkey but a fast devoloping one, but the federation’s aim is to sell it to foreigners and not to raise the interest level from Turks toward a sports which is regarded as snob and only for the rich.

The Duel at Jinsha Lake will be a spectacular event in Zhengzhou. The audience will come out in force to see the world’s two most famous golfers compete against each other. Woods has the experience in head-to-head events and one-day contests, but it’s hard to deny McIlroys talents. Personally, I believe he is pretty close to his best, and if he can beat world #1, Rory McIlroy, then he is certainly making a step in the right direction. It’s going to be interesting. Unfortunately, it’s not being televised. So if you don’t have chance to be there,
I hope McIlory and Woods perform better at ‘The Duel’ at Jinsha Lake Golf Club on Monday the 19th October. It should be a good event, and will be great to see the world ranked #1 and #2 go head-to-head. As far as im aware its not on Televison, but Spondo are broadcasting it online
