One of the jewels of Turkey’s tourism, Bodrum will be the host of 8th World Congress of ‘ The Most Beautiful Bays in the World’ this September.

Bodrum – Turkey / Patmos – Greece – From 11-15 September, 2012, the Bodrum Municipality will be hosting the 8th World Congress of “The Most Beautiful Bays in the World.”

Sponsored and supported by Karia Rotary, Aynalikavak Winery yalikavak Bodrum, The Marmara Bodrum, Gündüz Travel, The most beautiful Bays in the World Congress’agenda will be about the preservation of unspoiled bay around the globe.

The Bays organization was founded in France in 1997. Bodrum is the only Turkish member of this international organization.

Bodrum hotel and restaurant owner Galip Gür will be taking over the 3-year term of President of the World Bays organization from outgoing President Jerome Bignon of France. Gur will be the first President from Turkey in the organization’s 15-year history.

The September World Congress of ‘ The most beautiful Bays in the World ‘ in Bodrum will host close to 120 delegates from 37 bay members in 28 countries. International participants will include municipal leaders, business executives, diplomatic representatives and journalists from around the world.
