The Champions League final will be held in Paris instead of St. Petersburg. This decision was made by the Executive Committee of the European Football Union (UEFA) at a crisis meeting due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine. The game is scheduled for May 28th.
In a statement, UEFA thanked French President Emmanuel Macron for his support and commitment in bringing “European club football’s most prestigious match at a time of unprecedented crisis” to France.
