A doctor is being investigated in NW town of Mudanya in Turkey for boosting the morale of his child patient by wearing a Santa Claus suit and visiting her at home.

İlker Şahin, a general surgeon is being investigated by Turkish Ministry of Health for boosting the morale of his child patient by wearing a Santa Claus suit and visiting her at her home.

The annoying incident occurred at a state hospital in Mudanya, a NW town in Turkey near-by Bursa. The 8 year old Zeynep Sude Kaya had been operated by general surgeon İlker Şahin and his team on 31th December. The doctor decided to visit his little patient, who could not celebrate the new year, at her home to boost her morale, so he put a Santa suit and went with nurses from the same hospital to Zeynep Sude Kaya s family home. The little girl was happy with the visit by the 15 doctors, nurses and hospital personnel . The hospital is known one as -children friendly-

Apparently there have been some unhappy -human beings- in the hospital, who had seen a man wearing Santa Claus suit and walking in the hospital. They complained and reported the man in the Santa suit, who actually was the doctor, to the hospital directory. Now the helping and caring doctor faces charges for wearing a Santa suit in a hospital by Bursa City Health Department.
