1.2 billion dollars aid from the USA to Ukraine
US President Joe Biden announced on his social media account that $ 1.2 billion in humanitarian and security aid will be provided to Ukraine.
“I spoke with President Zelensky this morning to discuss Russia’s brutal and ongoing war against Ukraine,” Biden said in a statement. “I reaffirmed our commitment to stand by Ukraine and shared that the United States will provide over $1.2 billion in additional security and humanitarian assistance,” he said.
On the other hand, in the statement made by the US Department of Defense, the military support includes 18 155 millimeter howitzers, 36 thousand rounds of 155 millimeter ammunition, 18 tactical vehicles, additional ammunition for the Multi-Barrel Rocket System, 4 additional tactical vehicles and spare parts and other equipment.
